Name: Dave Calderwood
Rank: 4th Dan (Yondan) Shidoshi-ho
Dave started his Bujinkan training under Shihan Jack Hoban, and continues to learn from him. He also trains with Jon Haas and Josh Sager. He started his training much like anyone else, wanting to learn self defense. But after years of training, he has learned so much more than physical skills. His training has introduced him to many fascinating people, and taken him to amazing places. It's also helped him to realize alot of things about himself, and helped him to become a better human being. He took his first trip to Japan with Tony Notarianni where he was lucky enough to train at the Hombu Dojo, and see Grandmaster Masaaki Hatsumi in action at the Daikomyosai. He is currently ranked as 4th Dan, obtained his Shidoshi-ho license (assistant teacher) from Japan, and is the class administrator for the Bujinkan Neshaminy Dojo. He thoroughly enjoys training with Tony, and the group, and looks forward to every class.
